Mountainview Reimagination

Update 04/08/2025 

Due to the lack of a timeshare termination statute in Maine, the Mountainview property is being wound down under Maine’s condominium termination laws. A licensed appraiser, Tom Siegel, has valued the property at $1.4 million, or approximately $915 per interval, based on current market conditions.

Please note:

• Final distribution to owners will be based on the actual sale price, minus any association debts.
   
• The property will be sold via auction through Ten-X, a national real estate platform.
   
• Auction details were shared in January; a recording is available at mountainviewresort.info/recordings-and-minutes.

Thank you to everyone who attended the termination vote meeting on December 10th. Your participation and thoughtful discussion were truly appreciated. For those unable to join, a recording of the meeting is available on the Recording and Meeting Minutes Tab. 

The termination vote has been officially approved, marking an important milestone in the process of moving forward with the property sale. The threshold to terminate was 80% or 1,224 “yes” votes, and with 1,288 affirmative votes (84%), the required threshold was exceeded. The meeting was recessed intentionally to allow any ballots mailed in by the end of the month to be included in the final count.
